One of our few wine grapes, Frontenac is best suited for making rosés, ports, and dry red wines. Frontenac typically lends an aroma of cherry to its blends, though it can present as other red fruits. High in sugar and acidity.

This grape should be planted in a sheltered location, ideally the south side of a building.

Mature Size: Variable – approx. 6-10′ tall by 3-6′ wide. Trellis.
