During late spring to midsummer, panicles of bell-shaped, creamy-white, and small sized flowers will bloom on dark red slender stems rising above its foliage.

This is a relatively low maintenance plant, and is a good choice for attracting butterflies to your yard. This plant will get up to 8 to 12 inches tall with a spread of 16 inches. It is easy to grow. It is relatively pest and disease free. It performs best in part shade, in rich, medium moisture, well-drained soils. It will also thrive in the dry shade, once established.
