A variety of Gooseberry that is nearly thornless. It has green fruit that will become pink when it ripens. This is an introduction from Boughen’s Nursery. It is a self pollinating variety, but yield will improve with another pollinator.

Gooseberries are related to currants, and, like currants, they are delicious in jams, jellies, and pies. These pale, round, translucent fruit grow on small, somewhat sprawling shrubs; they thrive in well-drained soil in a site with morning sun and afternoon shade.
