Part of the New Millennium selection of Delphiniums, and was selected from New Zealand. The Delphinium is an herbaceous perennial with a rigid upright and towering form. This variety produces tall, stately spires with white blooms with a contrasting black eye. The blooms are frilly. The leaves of on this bushy mound are deeply-cut shaped and are vigorous. These hybrid delphiniums are bred for their strong stems, excellent form, and excellent cold hardiness. No staking is required with this variety.

The Black Eyed Angels Delphinium will grow to be about 47 – 70 inches tall, and a spread of 45 – 6- inches. It grows at a medium rate. It prefers to grow in average to moist conditions, but not particular as to soil type or pH. If you are growing multiples of this plant ensure that you are spacing them approximately 10 inches apart.
