The Mauna Loa Daylily produces large, bright, amber-orange colored petals that are ruffled in texture, with a light creamy orange edging and an even lighter orange-yellowish throat. The foliage of this daylily is dense and is mounded, with the usual grassy green texture.

This is a relatively low maintenance plant, and is a good choice for attracting butterflies to your yard. This plant will grow to be about 18 inches tall and a spread of 24 inches.
