Fall Self Guided School Field Trips
BOOK HERE >
Welcome Back!
We're excited to welcome schools and children back to Prairie Gardens for our fantastic fall field trips! We take our responsibility for your well-being extremely seriously. Luckily one thing we are blessed with here is SPACE. We have almost 25 acres here on the farm, and we have been meticulously planning our re-opening to make the most of it.
We have a great selection of programs available: choose from our Pumpkins, Scarecrows & Fall in the County, Rock & Mineral Gem Mine Expedition, Junior Farmer, Forest & Rhythm in Nature, and Combined All-Day tours. Enjoy our wide open spaces, mazes, playgrounds, and pumpkin patches! As always, our field trip programs take place outside, which means children should dress for the weather - layers are great. We are also limiting the number of tours per time to make sure everyone stays healthy and safe. So make sure you book your preferred time and date early!
Teachers, staff, and parents are expected to complete the Alberta Health Daily Check-List before boarding the bus and observe covid-19 prevention measures, which may include: physical distancing, cohort-groups, masking, and hand-washing. As always, we only charge for program participants who are present on the day of the field trip. Anyone exhibiting symptoms of covid-19 must not visit the farm. Should any participants develop symptoms onsite, they will be given a mask while waiting, in a separate area, to go home.
