Summercrisp Pear


Living up to its name, the Summercrisp pear is ready early in the season (August) and is deliciously fresh and crisp, which makes for an ideal fresh-eating pear. The fruit is green with a red blush, turning yellow in mid-summer. Eat or refrigerate for up to two months after harvest. Cross pollinate with another pear which blooms in mid-spring. Hardy and strong resistance to fireblight.
