A hybrid between a cherry and a plum. A great choice for the smaller backyard. The red-purpler skin of this plum is bitter, and has purple-black firm clingstone flesh that has a mild sweetness and tartness. The plums ripen in late Summer.

Best to cross pollinate with the American plum group to get the best yield. Prefers a moist, well-drained soil, but will not tolerate standing water.
