Small but mighty, the Convoy Cherry Plum produces small fruit with red skin and yellow flesh. The fruit is juicy and very sweeet. Best suited for fresh eating. As a bonus, Convoy is a very compact bush, so it’s ideal for smaller areas.

Pollinate this variety with a plum with: Canadian Plum or American Plum for best pollination. The Western Sand Cherry and other cherry-plums may be suitable for cross-pollination, though not as effective as the Canadian or American.

Will start flowering Mid-May with harvest being Mid-August. Requires soil that is well-drained.
