Mature size: 7-9′ tall x 8-10′ wide

A Morello cherry (red skin and red flesh), North Star boasts excellent fruit with dark meaty flesh you can really sink your teeth into. Best suited for fresh eating and baking.  As North Star is self-fertile and semi-dwarf it’s a great choice for smaller spaces.

North Star is experimental in zone 3. We recommend planting in a sheltered location (minimal wind exposure) and ideally in a location with significant snowfall. Not recommended for novice orchardists.
