Iris ‘Loop de Loop’
Pot size #1
Also known as the Tall Bearded Iris. It is a giant bloomer and looks great planted as a border plant. Plants form a clump of green foliage that has sword-shaped leaves. The stems of the Iris are upright and are able to hold up the very large blooms. The Loop de Loop variety features a bold white flag-like flower with purple edging. This is an herbaceous perennial with a medium texture that will require occasional maintenance and upkeep. Recommended to use as mass planting, or in general garden use.
The Iris will grow to be about 3 ft at maturity, with a spread of 24 inches. If you are growing the Iris in masses or used as a bedding plant space them apart approximately by 18 inches apart. It grows at a medium rate. It does best in average to evenly moist conditions, but will not tolerate standing water. It is not particular to soil type or pH. Gardeners should be aware of insects.
