The blooms are bold balls of lilac-purple rounded clusters and flower in mid-summer. Great to use as a cut flower, or even to be planted in a container combination.

The Millenium Ornamental Onion will grow to be about 12 inches tall, with a spread of 15 inches. It grows at a medium rate, though it tends to go dormant during late Summer. It does best in average to evenly moist conditions, but does not tolerate standing water. If is not particular as to soil type or pH.
