Spring on the Farm

Spring is the season of workshops on the farm!

From learning how to properly plant and care for fruit trees in our Orchard Series to expressing your creative side by designing and planting unique hanging baskets to take-home, you'll be as busy as a bee this season.

Be My Valentine: Date Night at Prairie Gardens, February 14th

Enjoy a welcome mocktail, craft a willow-twig heart to take-home, and partake in a 4-course dinner experience.

Breakfast with the Easter Rabbit, April 18th-21st

Bring the kids to have fun hunting for eggs, decorating Easter cookies, and visiting the baby lambs and goats.

Spring Opening, April 25th

Let the gardening get underway! Tree nursery and greenhouses open for the 2025 season.

Mother's Day in May, May 11th

Summer on the Farm

Summer is the season of u-pick! Our strawberry u-pick usually starts around mid-July and continues until the beginning of August. Of course the weather is the determining factor of when the berries ripen and how long the season will last.

Fairy Berry Festival, August 2nd-4th

Celebrate the end of the berry picking season at the farm! Fairies, pirates, and home made berry shortcake are all part of the family fun!

Summer Date Nights, Fridays June-August

Grab your partner, bestie, or your neighbour and join us for an evening at the farm! When you arrive enjoy a farm discovery tour, trackless train ride, and even a goat schnuggle or two.

Vegetable U-Pick, August

Cucumbers, Potatoes, Cabbages, Cauliflower, Onions, Sweet Corn, Zucchini, Kohlrabi, Broccoli, Beets & More! Come to the farm to pick your very own veggies.

Sunflower Days, late August

Come while the sun is shining and take some gorgeous photos in a field of sunflowers! The sunflowers are usually in peak bloom for around 2 weeks, starting in August.

Winter on the Farm

Winter is the season of making merry! Whether your family is joining us for a Breakfast with Santa or your company is hosting a Christmas Party with us. Bundle up for the Polar Express and prepare to be cozy while relaxing with a steaming cup of hot cocoa.

Breakfast with Santa, November 29th - December 20th

Farm-to-table breakfast with Santa will become your new family tradition at Prairie Gardens. After breakfast, enjoy our Winter Wonderland! Make some snow angels, snow-slide down the hill, play fox n’ goose on our maze trails.

A Prairie Christmas, November - December

Our outdoor Christmas celebrations bring together family, colleagues, and friends to share the holiday spirit. Christmas parties do amazing things for building community! Our Prairie Christmas get-togethers are full of hope and joy, and the perfect way for management to express their appreciation to all for a year’s hard work.
