Leopard’s Bane is a daisy variety that is an early bloomer that mixes beautifully with other spring-blooming flowers. It is compact and has semi-double, bright yellow colored flowers, with gold eyes, that will bloom over mounds of dark green, serrated heart-shaped foliage. Great choice to use as edging, or as part of a rock garden. When temperatures get too hot these may go dormant. It can also be grown in a container or in a basket. This is a relatively low maintenance plant. It is not humidity or heat tolerant, so it is best to keep it in partial shade and with consistent moisture.

Prefers soil that is dry and well-drained. Will be drought tolerant once established. Drought tolerant and actually prefers poor soil (neutral or alkaline soil), over soil that is too rich or heavy clay. Will get to a height of 10-12 inches and a spread of 12 inches, and has a medium growth rate.
