Named Manitoba’s Centennial, and for a good reason. It is a beautiful, upright, and rounded tree. This crabapple tree produces semi-double pink flowers, in Spring, with white markings at the base of the petals. The foliage is a bronzy green shade, and this foliage will turn orangish-yellow in the Fall, along with small purple fruit that will persist into the Winter.
The tree grows at a medium rate. It grows in full sunlight or partial shade. Prefers well drained, medium textured soils with adequate moisture. Feed in Spring with an all purpose fertilizer. Little pruning is needed, but ensure to prune off broken or damaged limbs.
