We offer 50+ farm fun activities, adventures and experiences for children of all ages.  2 parent chaperones are free for organized pre-booked tours. Suitable for ages 2-14. Children ages under 2 are free.

Prairie Gardens Day Trip Program – 1.5 Hour Guided Tour

COST & PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Cost $11.00 per child + GST  * Extra costs apply for Provided Lunches and Private Lunch Areas The Children will love an escape to the countryside an our farm!  There’s freedom to run and play, an opportunity to learn about how food grows, have fun solving a kid-sized corn maze, a visit to the petting farm, OR rock-hound for real semi-precious gems and dinosaur fossils!   Each team of around 20-30 children will participate in the first four activities, then enjoy active play from the remaining activities on a rotational basis (15 minutes per activity), and then have free time to play and eat a BYOF lunch or a snack:
  • Prairie Gardens Express Train Ride around the Farm
  • Bale Maze – run in the straw maze while trying to figure your way out
  • Petting Farm – visit and feed our many farm animals including goats, sheep, chickens, and bunnies
  • Kids Cornfield  Maze Adventure – Find all of the clues for some free popcorn! (Corn is tall enough by late July.)
  • Community Shared Educational Garden Tour – nibble and taste to learn what grows here!
  • Farm Puppet Show

Plus Free Time for Active Play around the Farm:

  • Bouncy Coral - Bounce around the track on inflated Ponies, Purple Cows and Other farm like animal bouncy toys
  • Farmer’s Fun – Play Hill Billy Golf, Walk the Plank or play the Welly Wangler
  • Sunflower Mini-Mazes
  • Kids Fun Zone: Swoosh down the hill slide, play some soccer, leap forward in a sack race, or how about an egg & spoon race?
  • Duck Races – Race the rubber duck down the water trough by pumping the hand water pumps
  • Rooster Aviary – Observe the handsome roosters in the aviary
  • Nature Trail – Stroll through the heritage rows of crabapple trees
  • Duck Ponds – Feed the ducks if you love them!  (Did you see the Muskrat??)
  • Chicken Coop – Learn about our fine feathered friends, eggs and more
  • Brown Bag Lunch under the trees or BBQ hotdog lunch* or Hotdog and Marshmallow Roast*

Rock Hounders’ Lost Lemon Mine Adventure – 1.5 Hour Guided Program

COST & PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Cost $11.00 per child + GST  * Extra costs apply for Provided Lunch and Private Seating Areas Travel back in time to the days of the Klondike!  Try your hand at panning for mineral treasures. Enjoy the rush of rushing water sluicing for quartz crystal, silver ore, tiger eyes, amethysts, fossils, and many other beautiful semi-precious gemstones to take home. The jewels you uncover come from all over the world and we guarantee a “major strike” hidden in every bucket of sand.  Not only is it great summer fun – it’s educational. The mineral information cards are a great reference for future school projects.
