Lightly scented, large 20-25cm (8-10″), double, bright yellow blooms in mid-to-late spring, held just above a very uniform mound of dark green, deeply dissected foliage. Maintains form even when wet. Tolerates drought once established in a moist, well-drained soil. 36-40″ tall by wide.
Peonies are virtually pest free. Very useful and adaptable in the garden. Perfect to use a specimen plant, borders, city gardens , or cottage gardens. Low maintenance. Best time to plant peonies is in spring or early fall.
