Another new and exciting variety from Russia, Zarechnaya is known for being extremely productive and producing medium-sized pears that have a simple, yet refreshing, sweet flavour. Fruit has a very thin rind and is golden in colour, often with an orange-tinged blush. Best suited for fresh eating.

Requires a second pear for cross pollination. Varieties such as Early Gold, Golden Spice, Southworth, Summercrisp, Larinskaya, Prairie Welcome Chizhovsky, Paul’s, and Patten are recommended.
