With good cold hardiness and great flavour, Flemish Beauty is an excellent additional to any orchard. Its fruit is large with a greenish-yellow colour, although it often has a pinkish blush. Recommended for fresh eating, the pears are sweet and very juicy. Ready in late September. Flemish Beauty is partially self-pollinating, but produces significantly higher years of better quality fruit with a second pear of a different variety for cross-pollination.
