First introduced by Aubins Nursery, Manitoba, in 1980. It is cold hardy and late blooming. The Apricots that are formed are small but with a nice sweet flavour, but less sweet in comparison to other varieties. This freestone fruit has a firm texture, so it lends itself to canning. It flowers later than other Apricots and ripens from the middle of July to August.
These variety is self pollinating, but yield will improve with cross-pollination. It grows to be about a height of 15 ft and a spread of 12 ft.
