A shrub that has an upright columnar growth pattern. Known for being hardy. During the Spring the shrub is covered in white spring blooms, and dark green foliage that will turn yellow-orange in the Fall. The blooms will eventually turn into purple-blue Saskatoon berries. This variety yields the highest amount of berries out of all the other Saskatoons.
Prefers soil that is acidic and well-drained, but is adaptable to both dry and moist conditions. Drought tolerant once established. Relatively low maintenance. Best pruned in late winter or early spring once the threat of extreme cold has passed.
