Campanula glomerata ‘Emerald’
Pot size #1
The Campanula is often called the Clustered Bellflower because of the clustered arrangement of the flowers that sit on top of the tall stems. The flowers have the bell-shape and have an almost lily-like appearance. The flowers are a sky blue to lavender blue color, and occasionally there will be darker flecks of purple along the edges of the petals. The foliage of the Campanula is a lush emerald green color, hence its name Campanula G. ‘Emerald’. The flowers will usually bloom in late Spring, and will rebloom with proper deadheading.
Does well in most soils as long as it is well-drained. Easy to grow and is reliable. Grows in clumps and will get to a height of 24 inches tall, and with a spread of 36 inches wide. Excellent to use as cut flowers, borders, rock gardens, or in containers.
