Spirea is a landscaping classic, thanks to its neat, mounded habit. It makes a border, mass planting, accent plant, or perennial garden companion.

The Magic Carpet Spirea is a compact shrub, dwarf size, and grows in a rounded mound shape. The shrub has red-tipped lime green/bright golden foliage and pink blooms that will form early Summer. The foliage will then become a russet-red shade in Fall.

Prefers soil that is moist and well-drained. Great to use as fresh flowers or dried. Deadheading is not necessary. Needs slightly acidic soil.Consider applying a thick mulch around the root zone in winter to protect it in exposed locations or colder microclimates. Drought tolerant.
