The Burgundy Lowbush has bronzy colored foliage, in the Spring, becoming a gray-green leaves in the Summer, and a deep burgundy shade in the Fall. The berries are pea-sized, light blue, and are easy to pick. Noted for its ornamental features and also great to use as a hedge, ground cover, or mass planting.
Annual pruning is not necessary but they do respond well when pruned back every second or third year, in late winter. These plants attract wildlife, and are great for borders in your landscape.
