Great to use for mass planting, slopes/banks, for erosion control and neutralization. A low growing compact shrub. It is a dense multi-stemmed deciduous shrub and grows close to the ground. It has green foliage throughout the season, and becomes an outstanding orange in the Fall. There are also little berries that grow in clusters from late Summer – late Fall. Among the bush there are also fragrant yellow spring blooms.
This shrub will grow to be about 100 cm, and with a spread of about 5 ft. Adapts to a wide range of well-drained soil types, though with a preference for acidic soils.
