Therese Bugnet Rose
A vigorous upright rugosa style rose with smooth dark green foliage. Large, double, deep pink flowers fade to pale pink and have a sweet strong fragrance and repeat through the summer. Good as a background in the border, informal hedge or in mass plantings. Own root.
Considered by many to be the most hardy garden rose, this imposing specimen is smothered in sweetly fragranced, large double deep pink flowers throughout the summer; an upright habit; disease resistant; needs full sun and well-drained soil.
Water regularly as needed. Feed in spring with an all purpose fertilizer prior to new spring growth. Can prune back heavily in spring to promote vigorous new growth and better flower production. If a severe winter causes die back, prune back and can restart as low as root system.
