Developed at the Morden Research Station (Manitoba) and released in 1942, Dura is known for its dwarf growth habit and sweet red-skinned fruit. Ready in late August/early September, Dura plums are best suited for fresh eating, baking, preserving, and juicing.
Needs another plum for cross-pollination. Canadian or American plum recommended.
Mature Size: 8-10′ tall x 6-7′ wide.
