Description

We get it – the winters are cold, the wind howls all day long, and you just want to grow your own darn fruit, but only the toughest survive in your area. That’s why we’ve put together a tasty variety of exceptionally cold hardy fruits (zone 1 & zone 2) to get you started! We’ll include zone 1 fruits whenever possible, unless you otherwise request zone 2. All the fruits listed are either self-fertile or have the appropriate cross-pollinating partners.

Each Great Northern Orchard Package includes the following:

• 2 x #5 Apples
• 2 x #5 Plums – 2 hybrids
• 1 x #2 Native Plum (pollinator for hybrids)
• 4 x #2 Honeyberries/Haskaps (cross-pollinating series)
• 2 x #2 Romance Series Sour Cherries, shrub-form
• 2 x #2 Alaska Cranberries
• 2 x #1 Saskatoons
• 2 x #1 Lignonberries
• 2 x #1 Arctic Raspberries

This Orchard Package also includes a farm tour, and a 1-on-1 knowledge-sharing experience with an orchardist.

The Great Northern Orchard Package is flexible – we’re happy to work with you to plan the best possible orchard for your home and match your tastes as much as possible (for example, if you LOVE gooseberries, but aren’t a big fan of sour cherries, we can give you extra gooseberries instead).
