Producing stunning 5″ coral petals with a yellow throat and red-hued band, South Seas is an excellent addition of colour to any garden. Petals are smooth with ruffled edges. Foliage is healthy and the plant is a vigorous grower.

Compared to other daylilies, South Seas is a midseason bloomer (typically with a blossom period in July), and a rebloomer, which means it will produce a second set of blossoms. It boasts an extended bloom period – flowers typically stay open for at least sixteen hours.

Adaptable to both dry and moist locations, and not particular to soil type or pH. Once it has been established it is pretty drought tolerant. It has a medium growth rate.
