Pyrus ‘Chizhovsky’

A medium-sized pear, Chizhovsky produces fruit that is aromatic and sweet – ideal for fresh eating. Maturing in early September, the fruit can keep up to three months in cold storage. In fact Chizhovsky has done so well that it has become the standard against which all new pear varieties are compared in Russia, where it was developed.
