A narrow, columnar crabapple form. This tree has purple-red leaves that will turn a greenish-bronze color as the leaves mature, and become orange-yellow in the Fall. Among the leaves are pink blooms, with lavender overtone, that bloom in the Spring and mature to dark red ornamental fruit that will last over winter. Great for small landscapes.

Great to use as an accent, shade, or general garden use. This is a high maintenance tree that will require care and upkeep.

The tree grows at a medium rate. It grows in full sunlight or partial shade. Prefers well drained, medium textured soils with adequate moisture. This variety has excellent foliar resistance to apple scab. It is shown to have good winter hardiness and solid disease resistance.
