Malus ‘Norland’
Pot size #5, #10, #15
An apple variety that stores well if they are picked under-ripe, and in the Summer the apples will fall from the tree as they ripen. A small tree that is grown for its edible qualities; sweet taste and a crisp texture. The apples are a red blush color with a white flesh. Because its an early variety it does not keep well, but makes a great juice.
It grows at a medium rate and prefers to grow in average to moist conditions. This is a high maintenance plant that will require regular care and upkeep, and is best pruned in late winter once the threat of extreme cold has passed. Requires another apple tree to cross-pollinate.
