An introduction by the University of Alberta, in 1955. A tree that has white with pink tinted Spring flowers. Apples are a lightly waxed bright red with slight stripping. The apples are good eating fresh and for baking into desserts; crisp, juicy white flesh, and a pleasant flavor. Ripen in late August, and with a short storage life.
Requires another apple within 150m for cross-pollination. Prefers a moist, well-drained soil.
