Released in 2013 by Washington State University, Cashmere is a dual purpose hop variety that has a unique flavour profile, which highlights lemon, lime, and melon, while still exhibiting a smooth bitterness. Descendent of Cascade and Northern Brewer. Best suited for pale ales and IPAs. Can exhibit secondary notes of coconut and lemongrass in whirlpool or dry hop additions
