Lycium Barbarum ‘September Gem’
Pot size#1
Known for high antioxidant levels, September Gem is truly a gem of a goji berry. Sweet tasting, the berries can be eaten fresh, but also dry well and can make for a scrumptious jam! The seeds can be bitter, but sweeten after a mild frost. Fruit is typically ready in late August/early September. Good for juicing, cooking, baking, drying, and making tea.
The plant itself grows fast, drought tolerant once established, and is great for soil stabilization. Goji berries are self-fertile, but produce heavier yields with a second plant.
3-9′ tall x 3-9′ wide – trellis is recommended because of weeping growth habit
