Pink spring flowers bloom to medium-size crabapples. Spire crabapples make an excellent choice for summer privacy screen.

The tree grows at a slow rate. It grows in full sunlight or partial shade. Prefers well drained, medium textured soils with adequate moisture. This variety has excellent foliar resistance to apple scab. It is shown to have good winter hardiness and solid disease resistance.
