Coneflowers have a daisy shaped bloom, and is a sun-loving perennial. This variety grows in masses of large, daisy-like blooms. The PowWow Wild Berry Coneflower is a deep ruby toned bloom, and has orange-brown raised centres that will hold its color well. Even without deadheading the blossoms it will bloom all summer long. The foliage is a dark green shade and is compact, but contrasts well with the blossom. This variety is suitable for containers, makes a great cut flower, and is very pollinator friendly.

Also known as Echinacea, which has been cultivated since the 1700s, both in North America and Europe. It is used commonly as treatment and medicine, and is easily grown since they thrive on neglect.

This is a relatively low maintenance plant, and is easy to care for. Coneflowers will grow in clumps. The PowWow Wild Berry will get to 2 ft tall on their strong erect stems. It tolerates dry to medium, well-drained soils. It will tolerate drought conditions once it is established. Low water needs. Drought, deer, heat, humidity, and poor soil tolerant.
