Another excellent keeping apple, Fallawater is ready to harvest in late September/early October and stores until April – April!! – in cold storage. The fruit of Fallwater is large, mildly sweet, and excellent for making applesauce or for baking with. Dates back before 1842 in Pennsylvania.

Requires two different apples nearby for cross-pollination. Prefers a moist, well-drained soil.
