Evergreen shrub with glossy leathery dark green leaves that are used fresh or dried as flavoring in cooking. Has some medicinal uses. Easily pruned to any shape. Great in Container and may be moved indoors in the winter and placed by a sunny window.

Prefers moist, well drained soil. Feed in spring and throughout the growing season with an all purpose fertilizer. Prune anytime to control size and shape. Can be formed into topiary figures.
