Choose from the following varieties of potatoes to enjoy! Potatoes come in 20lb sacks and are $15ea.
Bellanita Fingerling: gourmet fingerling variety with yellow skin and yellow flesh. Best suited for roasting, grilling, steaming, and making potato salad, this is one of the varieties we use in our famous Dilly Garlic Roasted Potatoes. Good keeper.
Cecile Fingerling: gourmet French fingerling variety with red skin and yellow flesh. Slighter larger than Bellanita, this fingerling is also best suited for roasting, grilling, steaming, and making potato salad. This is the other variety we primarily use in our Dilly Garlic Roasted Potatoes. Good keeper.
Violet Queen: this potato has purple skin and purple flesh with long oval tubers. Makes a beautiful lavender mashed potato when mixed with a white-fleshed potato like Sangre.
Santina: this variety has yellow skin and dark yellow flesh. A large, round-shaped potato, Santina is best suited for mashing and boiling. Keeps for us until May in cold storage.
Sangre: sporting a deep red skin with white flesh, Sangre is excellent for boiling and baking, has no after cooking discolouration, is high in vitamin C, and ranks high in taste tests. Combine with Violet Queen for a lovely lavender mash.
Please note: all potatoes are UNWASHED. Potatoes keep longer in cold storage when they are unwashed.
Farm pick-up on Wednesdays or Thursday mornings. Our address is 56311 Lily Lake Rd, Sturgeon County.
City Pick-Up available on Thursdays 3:30-6:30pm at The Butchery by Rge Rd (12229 – 107 Ave). If your potatoes have not been picked up by 6:30pm on Thursday, they will be donated without refund.
