Spring Hanging Basket Workshop

Gather some friends and join us for our annual spring hanging basket workshop. Our greenhouses are the perfect place to grow your own hanging basket this spring!  We’ll set you up for success –with everything you need –the container, the soil, slow release fertilizer, and plants galore for sun or for shade. We’ll teach you how to plant them up, and the best part? Leave them with us to grow in the greenhouse. Our experienced team will grow them on for you. Come back for them at the end of May – when it’s time to hang them outdoors!

In addition to the culture requirements of each of the flowers, the topics covered in class will include: soil preparation, heat and light requirements, frost control, pinching and deadheading tricks, organic pest control, fertilizing, and easy care techniques.

For 10:00am-12:00pm workshops, lunch be served after the workshop. For 1:00-3:00pm workshops, lunch will be served before the workshop.

Please note: All attendees must register! This workshop is recommended for adults or youth 12 years and up.

How to register:

1. Select your date
2. Select your time (even if there’s only one time listed)
3. Enter the number of participants for either the MOSS baskets or plastic baskets (35cm)
4. Optional: add as many extra baskets as you would like
5. Click “Book Now” and follow payment instructions

Baskets will be ready for pick-up 5.5 weeks after your workshop date. For example, baskets made on April 6th will be ready by May 15th, baskets made on April 13th, will be ready on May 22nd, and baskets made April 20th will be ready on May 29t.
