Developed by Bill Schroeder from Regina, Saskatchewan, Tinkerbelle is an applecrab known for its hardiness (zone 2), its excellent crunch and sweet flavour, as well as its relatively long keeping abilities for a crab (2 months after harvest). Apple colour is red over green and yellow. Harvest is generally in late August. Excellent for fresh eating, making jellies, and cooking with.

Requires another apple nearby to cross-pollinate. Prefers a moist, well-drained soil.
