The Superior Plum is a large plum with dark red skin, and has yellow flesh that is firm, meaty and is a clingstone. This plum is great eaten fresh, or used as a jam. There are beautiful white blooms in early Spring and harvest for plums being ready in July.
This variety prefers well-drained and loamy soil. The Superior Plum requires either an American/Japanese plum to cross-pollinate.
