In comparison to the Beta grape this variety will mature earlier, and will mature during early Fall. Very hardy and produces grapes in compact clusters. The grapes are sweet, juicy, royal purple colored, and seeded. Used in juices, jellies, and made into wines.
Self-pollinating variety. Prefers a moist, well-drained soil. It requires a support system to grow on and is a large-space vine.
