Jahn’s Prairie Gooseberry

Known for being the best flavoured and sweetest tasting red gooseberry, and will make excellent jam and jelly. The fruit can be eaten right off of the bush. The plant itself is mildew resistant, and is quite vigorous. Unlike other Gooseberry varieties you will need any sugar to sweeten the taste. The berries are medium sized, and have a dark maroon skin with light green highlights.
