Grenville plums produce large fruit (5 to 6 cm in size) that are sweet and juicy – perfect for fresh eating. They are also one of our only orange-coloured plums when ripe, which is fitting as they’re ready to harvest in September. Clingstone fruit. This plum was introduced in 1941 by the Horticultural Division of the Central Experimental Farm in Ottawa, Ontario.
Needs a second plum for cross-pollination – Canadian or American Plum is recommended.
