Trailman is one of our favourite apples of all time. One has been planted on the farm for several decades and it never fails to produce perfect mouth-watering egg-shaped apples that gleam gold. These apples have yellow flesh, are crunchy to the bite, and have the ideal amount of juiciness. Recommended for fresh eating (they were a favourite in school lunches), juicing, and cider-making. In addition, Trailman crabapples will keep up to 2 months in cold storage, so you can enjoy them well into the beginning of November, and they begin fruiting at an early age. Released from Beaverlodge, Alberta in 1973.
