Our family has been devoted to raising and caring for heritage chicken breeds for the last twenty years. We're proud to contribute to the conservancy of several rare and unique breeds. For decades visitors have been able to come to the farm and enjoy viewing our diverse flock, but in more recent years we have become dedicated to increasing our visitors' ability to engage with our fine-feathered friends and provide more in-depth educational experiences about our heritage breeds.

Programs

  • Heritage Chicken Farm Tours

    Interested in learning more about chickens and all the different breeds we raise? Visit the farm for a behind-the-scenes farm tour. Your guide will take you right into the coop, and if you're lucky, you might even get to pet one of our fair-feathered friends. Please be prepared to follow our biosecurity practices that keep our flock safe!

  • Workshops

    We offer a variety of chicken workshops through the upcoming year: from DIY herb feeders for your chickens to in-depth breed spotlights to good henhouse and egg management to how to build your own nest boxes!

  • Farm Market

    Stop by our seasonal farm market - open Thursday through Sunday 11am to 5pm - and choose some delicious farm fresh veggies, like heirloom tomatoes, yellow zucchini, or baby potatoes, to enjoy for supper. Eggs will be collected every morning and sold at the market during the day - best come early, as we tend to sell out quickly!

  • CSA Egg Share

  • Order Spring Chicks!

  • Donations

    We strive to protect heritage breeds and increase their existing populations. Though our egg sales help offset costs of program, many of our breeds lay far fewer eggs than commercial hens at industrial farms. Your donation will provide additional funds that will ensure the continual improvement of our chicken coops, feeding systems, and bird health.
