Visit the farm Sep 21–22 for our annual fall family festival – Fall-o-ween. Pick a pumpkin, run the enormous 4-in-1 corn maze and then pop by the concession for chili and pumpkin pie.
We’ll have magic shows, live music, a working blacksmith making cool stuff with fire and metal, face painting and free unlimited wagon rides. We will open up the pumpkin u-pick, spooky haunted house and gigantic Mega Maze this weekend too.
On Saturday from 11 am – 5 pm, you can also take our shuttle bus between the farm, the Mega Maze and the town of Bon Accord’s Summer Skies festival. You’d better eat a good breakfast – it’s going to be a very fun, very busy day. Lucky for you there are free pancakes in town.
We grow over 10 acres of pumpkins and have a 2-acre pumpkin patch right along side our Mega Maze, which will be open for u-pick pumpkins during the festival (and all the way until the end of Oct). Wear gloves and long sleeves as pumpkin vines are very prickly! And be sure to cut well away from the pumpkin and leave a nice long stem. Prices range from $1 for minis up to $25 for the big brutes. Average prices are $3 for pie pumpkins and from $5 to $10 for jack-o’-lanterns.
Free shuttle from town to farm to Mega Maze
Park at the farm or the corn maze and take our free shuttle (on Sat only) to Bon Accord’s Scottish-themed equinox festival. Or wake with the birdies and watch the sunrise at the town’s Twilight Tea (6–8 am). Then feast on flapjacks at the pancake breakfast (9–11 am) before shuttling to the farm.
Bon Accord’s Summer Skies
The Summer Skies festival will have face painting, crafts and games for kids at the Train Park before a Tartan March to the main grounds of the Celtic-themed festival at 3:30. Here you’ll find heavy games, like the caber toss, a mock battle and a sheepdog competition. The fun (and messy) no cutlery dinner starts at 6 pm – just when you have worked up another big appetite from your day in the fresh country air.
