Wheat became much more than a crop, it represented life, community and thanksgiving. Beautiful handwoven creations were displayed in homes, used during weddings and Christmas celebrations and given as heartfelt gifts to family and friends.\nDuring this hands-on workshop, participants will learn the traditional techniques used to prepare and weave natural wheat straw while creating their own keepsake to take home.
